their MVA-xxx's (the in dash GPS systems) and they are literally a decade ahead of anyone else. The guys where I am going to buy my system from was showing me his Alpine alarm. It has a built in GPS that tracks teh vehicle when its stolen and allows commands to be sent to it from a cell phone for remote start, alarm arming, windows up, etc. and it will also tell him over the phone what sensor was tripped in the alarm. So I asked him how much, and he said that they don't sell it anymore because they have replaced it with some other alarm series (I can't remember the name... I'll have to find my alpine pamphlet). So I checked out the date on his system... 1992. Egads. Where is everyone else on this topic? Kenwood and pioneer have just come out with their GPS/Video headunits in the past couple years. Alpine has the cash and has put the development into their products. The headunits have always been great, but it looks like the rest of their products are passing everyone else in the market because they are dumping cash into the development. Keep a watch on that F1 equipment. The F1 HU looks DAMN SWEET :) Dude22 Richmond Hill, ON, Canada.
